As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Executive to provide leadership and oversight across our commercial mechanical construction operations.

As a Construction Executive, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across major commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, field leadership, preconstruction teams, and company executives to ensure projects are delivered safely, successfully, and profitably.
You will also play an important role in developing project teams, strengthening relationships with clients and general contractors, identifying project risks, and supporting the continued growth of VMG.

Projects may range from $5M to $30M+ in mechanical scope and include complex HVAC systems, plumbing infrastructure, and integrated mechanical technologies.
Provide leadership and oversight for multiple commercial mechanical construction projects
Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field leadership
Ensure projects meet expectations for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, costs, profitability, and overall financial performance
Identify project risks and work with project teams to develop effective solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other project partners
Participate in preconstruction planning, project pursuits, contract negotiations, and project turnover
Oversee the development and execution of project schedules and operational plans
Support project teams with contract management, change orders, procurement, and project closeout
Promote accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence across project teams
Partner with company leadership to improve processes and support continued company growth
Encourage the use of technology, innovation, and best practices throughout construction operations
15+ years of experience in construction, project management, operations, or related leadership roles
Strong experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects
Mechanical construction experience in HVAC and/or plumbing strongly preferred
Proven experience leading and developing Project Managers and construction teams
Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contracts, and risk management
Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously
Strong client relationship and business communication skills
Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities
Ability to work effectively with both office and field teams
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
