Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Overview:

Evo-Lite is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Estimator & Operations Coordinator to support and drive project success from estimation through execution. This hybrid role blends estimating, project management, business development, and document coordination—ideal for a proactive self-starter with strong technical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review project drawings, specifications, and bid invitations to prepare accurate cost estimates.

- Analyze and interpret information from digital planrooms and coordinate timely bid submissions.

- Leverage project management resources, for example Blue Beam, for digital takeoffs, markups, and document collaboration.

- Maintain and update estimating templates and cost databases in Excel.

Project Management Support

- Coordinate with sales, production, and management teams to ensure smooth project transitions.

- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to support on-time completion.

- Maintain communication logs, documentation, and status updates across departments.

Document & Planroom Coordination

- Manage digital planroom accounts and oversee all plan downloads, addenda reviews, and bid submissions.

- Monitor bid calendars and deadlines, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted promptly.

- Utilize project management resources for reviewing submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

Business Development

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new project opportunities.

- Analyze project leads and digital planroom listings to uncover strategic prospects.

- Prepare persuasive proposals and assist with client follow-ups to convert opportunities into awarded projects.

- Build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to expand Evo-Lite’s network and visibility.

- Support marketing efforts through proposal development, case study input, and sales collateral coordination.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Technical Tools: Proficiency in project management resources and advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

- Project Coordination: Experience in estimating, project coordination, or related roles within construction or manufacturing.

- Business Insight: Comfortable identifying business opportunities and supporting sales functions.

- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to accuracy, documentation, and project tracking.

- Team Collaboration: Effective communicator who works well across sales, production, and executive teams.

- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial, with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience:

- 3+ years in construction estimating, project coordination, or business development.

- Familiarity with lighting, architectural products, or custom manufacturing is a plus.
