Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a Project Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects. You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, coordinate subcontractor pricing, and work closely with Project Managers throughout the bidding process. Occasional travel to project sites is required.

Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office is expected. This full-time, on-site role is based in Montana with a competitive pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/construction or related field preferred (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years estimating experience in heavy civil or commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contract docs.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and developing cost estimates.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and production rates.
• Experience soliciting and evaluating subcontractor/supplier bids.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain current and future bid lists and estimating logs.
• Collect information for estimates and review project site with PM.
• Study plans and specs, request subcontractor quotes, obtain bidders list.
• Include safety costs in bidding (trench boxes, confined spaces, safety meetings).
