Job summary

LeoForce in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager with a strong background in construction estimation and fire protection systems. You will develop detailed cost estimates, analyze plans, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to keep projects on budget and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimation experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/Bluebeam, and deep knowledge of Fire Sprinkler System Design, ensuring accurate budgeting and effective

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other relevant software.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in fire protection, specifically Fire Sprinkler System Design.
  • Strong skills in project estimation and budgeting.
  • Proven ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
  • Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Conducting risk analysis and providing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Collaborating with Engineers, Architects, Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractors on project cost estimates.
  • Utilizing specialized software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam) for the preparation of estimates.
  • Designing and estimating fire protection systems, specifically Fire Sprinkler System Design.
  • Reviewing material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
  • Preparing and maintaining a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Preparing reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.

Our company is looking for an Estimator/Project Manager to join our well-established team. This role is pivotal in helping us to plan and budget our projects effectively. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, specifically in relation to project estimation, budgeting, and fire protection systems.
