Role Description

The Project Estimator-Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV. This position is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for wood framing projects, including materials, labor, and timelines, and managing the project through completion. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications and drawings, gathering and analyzing pricing data, and developing accurate budgets and proposals; coordinating trade data, simplifying and packaging information. The Project Estimator will collaborate with project engineer, operations staff, and vendors to clarify requirements, mitigate cost risks, and refine estimates as project scopes evolve. The role also involves tracking actual project costs against estimates, updating internal databases, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimation practices.

Qualifications

• Strong cost management and budgeting skills, with the ability to develop and monitor detailed project cost plans.
• Experience in wood framing estimating and project management, preferably within commercial framing, or closely related trades.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients, and to present estimates clearly.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and estimation software, and strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and labor requirements relevant to framing projects.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
• Prior experience in project coordination or construction-related roles is beneficial.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
