Qualifications

• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) preferred
• Previous estimator experience preferred
• Ability to forecast building costs and estimation formulas
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency with OST and Quick Bid software

Responsibilities

• Fully understand project scope by studying docs, meeting clients, and site visits
• Collect plans, drawings, and project specs
• Determine cost variables and research labor/material costs
• Gather bids and negotiate with providers for best prices
• Create and submit estimates to project managers

• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
• Create and submit estimates to project managers
• Budget and forecast using appropriate software OST

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering or a related field
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred
• Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred
• Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Skilled in relevant software (OST and Quick Bid)
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
