Job summary

Multicon Services LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our team as an Estimator. You will help the company make profitable decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates through analyzing plans, specs, and site visits.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented and has a proven track record as an Estimator, with proficiency in OST and Quick Bid and strong negotiation and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering or related field.
• CPE certification preferred.
• Experience as an estimator preferred.
• Forecast cost with estimation formulas.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in OST and Quick Bid software.
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations
• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
• Create and submit estimates to project managers
• Budget and forecast using appropriate software OST
