Emphasis is on mechanical or chemical engineering with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Interns will participate in safety and food safety training, work on high-priority projects, and may be considered for a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree, entering Fall as a senior.
• Preferred focus on Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Ability to work independently with guidance.
• Ability to work with contractors and provide instruction.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English: reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Capital Projects team at the Coopersville, MI plant.
• Learn to lead, collaborate and deliver results on high-priority projects.
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of the production plant project engineering team.
• Develop ability to report project progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
