Job summary

Grande Cheese Company is seeking an Engineering Intern to work with experienced engineers on capital projects, facility improvements, equipment troubleshooting, safety enhancements and operational initiatives within our production environments.

Interns gain hands-on experience across planning, design, installation, and commissioning, while developing project management, teamwork, communication, and professionalism in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Student in Junior or Senior status working towards a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related Engineering field from an accredited school required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and/or lead capital projects within production, facilities, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with development of specification documents to support project requirements.
• Support engineers by gathering equipment information and requisitioning necessary equipment and supplies.
