Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in East Farmingdale, NY is seeking an Engineering Intern to support mechanical engineers, manufacturing and quality control on projects in a fast-paced environment. You will gain hands-on experience with nonconformance reviews, project closeout documentation, certification data sheets and production test reports, and you may help develop assembly and test procedures.

Must be enrolled in a 4-year BS program in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering and be a US citizen;

• Must be a US citizen.
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Nuclear preferred).
• Coursework or training in mechanical drawing or related areas is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nonconformance reviews and dispositions.
• Prepare project closeout documentation including certification data sheets and production test data summaries.
• Create electronic assembly and test procedures (NoMuda Visual Factory).

Your Expertise: Must be a US citizen

EDUCATION/TRAINING: Currently Enrolled in (4) year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Nuclear preferred) College or trade school education in mechanical drawing and related areas
