Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Virginia PE preferred or ability to obtain within six months
• 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure planning, design, and construction support
• Experience leading or supporting multidisciplinary projects from planning through construction
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment systems, conveyance infrastructure, utility design standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing engineering reports, calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and related technical deliverables
• Demonstrated project management experience, including scope, budget, schedule, staffing, and client coordination.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support projects involving water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution and collection systems, pump and lift stations, storage facilities, and related utility improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions; manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Foster strong client relationships; support business development efforts; mentor emerging professionals.
