Our Tarrytown, NY office is seeking a project engineer with experience in wastewater treatment and pumping design. In this position, you will work alongside other professional engineers on Water and Wastewater projects in the New York and New Jersey areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Client interaction, project development, and project management
• Planning, design and execution aspects of wastewater pumping, treatment, and piping systems, including report writing, development of design plans and cost estimates, hydraulic evaluations, and development of permit applications.
• Management of multidisciplinary design teams including coordination with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers
• Autocad and Revit Design
• Coordination with CADD technicians

Candidate Specification:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil, environmental, or a related engineering discipline; M.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering a plus.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in water and wastewater related projects – planning, design, execution, and cost estimation for wastewater treatment, pumping, and pipeline design projects.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including technical report writing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 software. Knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software a plus but not needed. Experience with Autocad and/or Revit.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of New York, or have the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment

The expected salary for this position is $127,000 - $156,000. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
