Job summary

Highlander Consultants seeks a Project Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to design solutions for structures and maintain client relationships. You will act as a Project Engineer on several projects, coordinating with engineers and drafters to meet goals and schedules.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project management and structural engineering, with strong communication skills and knowledge of analytical software across structural systems. BIM experience (Revit) and RAM/RISA/Enercalc are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management and technical expertise for structural engineering
• Ability to organize and lead project teams to successful conclusions
• Excellent communication with team and clients
• Knowledge of analytical software across multiple structural systems
• Preferred - BIM (Revit) experience; RAM, RISA, Enercalc used

Responsibilities

• Design and detail solutions for new and existing structures that are code compliant and thoroughly detailed
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously with varying sizes and complexities
• Develop strong client relationships and engage in business development
• Coordinate with engineers and drafters to meet project goals and schedules
