Job summary

ClarkDietrich Engineering Services, LLC in McDonough, GA seeks a Project Engineer to perform structural analysis and drafting for cold-formed steel framing. You will collaborate with engineering and project teams to produce shop drawings and calculation packages for clients.

The role requires proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM, and a strong ability to produce accurate, timely design solutions while supporting project managers and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/Structural preferred, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and other disciplines that include statics course work will be considered).
• Professional Engineering certification or the ability to take the exam to become an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T).
• Military equivalent recognized in lieu of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce a CAD/BIM production detail drawing package of cold-formed steel structures including curtain wall and load bearing views, sections, 3D, isometric and other structural details.
• Produce the design of cold-formed steel structures including curtain and load bearing wall, lateral bracing and/or stability analysis and truss designs.
• Provide calculations in a logical, reviewable format for internal and client review/approval.
