Job summary

ClarkDietrich Engineering Services, McDonough, GA, is seeking a Project Engineer to perform structural analysis and drafting for cold-formed steel framing in a fast-paced office setting. You will produce detailed CAD/BIM shop drawings and calculation packages and collaborate with engineers and managers to deliver accurate designs on time.

Ideal candidates have a civil/structural engineering background, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and experience with structural analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with Civil/Structural focus preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
Familiarity with CAD/BIM and structural framing.
Ability to perform calculations and analysis.

Responsibilities

Produce CAD/BIM shop drawings and calculation packages for cold-formed steel structures.
Perform structural calculations for curtain walls, load bearing walls, bracing and truss designs.
Read and interpret drawings; coordinate with project team to meet deadlines.
Ensure drawings and calculations are reviewed and approved by project management.
