Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. in Middletown, OH is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering projects from design through start-up.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, contractors and vendors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while supporting infrastructure standards and continuous improvement. The role requires an engineering degree with several years in heavy manufacturing, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural.
• Three years of technical related engineering experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Ability to evaluate and resolve problems and make efficient decisions.

Responsabilités

• Manage engineering projects from design, procurement, installation and start-up of equipment and facilities.
• Supervise outside engineering firms, fabricators, suppliers, vendors, and labor contractors to ensure timely and safe completion.
• Identify process improvements and critical equipment/facility replacements for quality and competitive products.
• Ensure on-site contractor work meets company safety and workmanship standards.
• Develop scope of work, budget estimates, and coordinate design information for installation and commissioning.
