Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. Coshocton Works is seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from design and procurement through installation and start-up of equipment and facilities.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget solutions. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 3 years in a heavy manufacturing setting, with strong communication, time management, and CAD/Microsoft Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3 years of technical related engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, analytical and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from design and procurement through installation and start-up of equipment and facilities.
• Provide engineering assistance to Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Coordinate and manage facility infrastructure programs to meet corporate standards and policies.
• Supervise outside engineering firms, fabricators, vendors, and labor contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Ensure contractor compliance with safety regulations, trainings, and permits.
• Read and modify blueprints and schematics, using CAD tools and drafting methods.
• Index drawings and revisions; maintain equipment and project files.
• Adhere to government safety regulations and plant policies in design and operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
