Cleveland-Cliffs, Coshocton Works, has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from design and procurement through installation and start-up of new or modified equipment and facilities.

The role works closely with operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while supporting infrastructure standards and continuous plant improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Three (3) years of technical related engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects with minimal supervision within time and budget.
• Excellent communication, analytical and time management skills.
• Strong computer skills in office software applications, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to work in a team environment with staff and support personnel.

Mansioni

• Responsible for engineering projects including specifications for design, procurement, installation, and start-up of new or modified equipment and facilities as assigned.
• Provide engineering assistance to Operations and Maintenance departments.
• Coordinate and manage the facility’s infrastructure program to meet corporate standards and policies.
• Ensure accurate and timely project completion through supervision of outside engineering firms, fabricators, suppliers, vendors, and labor contractors.
• Ensure contractor compliance with safety regulations including on-site training, orientations, hot work permits and confined space permits.
• Read and understand blueprints and schematics and modify drawings using CAD and drafting techniques.
• Index drawings and revisions and maintain equipment and project files.
• Maintain awareness of governmental safety regulations and plant policies.
• Other duties as assigned
