Job summary

DickAndersonConstruction is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Project Engineer to join our team in Sheridan, WY. This position plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects by assisting with project documentation, cost tracking, scheduling, procurement, and communication throughout all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience as Project Engineer or construction project coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with managers, field personnel, owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Self-motivated in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals, schedules, material lists, specifications, and related paperwork.
• Coordinate with accounting to prepare subcontracts, insurance documentation, monthly billings, and project-related financial information.
• Secure permits and maintain project documentation and files.
• Review daily timecards for coding accuracy and submission.
• Collect, organize, and maintain project reports, meeting agendas, correspondence, and records.
• Match invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments with documentation.
• Track project quantities, production, costs, and weekly projections.
• Assist with quantity tracking and cost analyses for estimating and bidding efforts.
• Manage procurement of project materials, equipment, and long-lead-time items.
• Maintain as-built drawings and project specifications throughout construction.
• Lead and support scheduling activities.
• Communicate with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to maintain relationships.
• Coordinate material orders with Superintendents and verify postings.
• Assist with project closeout documentation, final pay quantities, final cost reporting, and project record storage.
• Support the Project Manager with additional coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
