Job summary

Wohlsen Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support our Project Team and keep construction initiatives on schedule. You will manage submittals and RFIs, prepare meeting minutes, and coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and government agencies to maintain smooth project flow.

In this role, you will assist with bid packages, project billings, and maintain comprehensive project files, logs, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent construction experience.
• Familiarity with Primavera Scheduling, SureTrak, MS Project, Timberline, Asta Powerproject, and CMiC is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Systems, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and process Submittal and RFI documentation, ensuring timely distribution to partners.
• Compose meeting minutes, interoffice memos, and format correspondence for clients, vendors, subcontractors, and agencies.
• Coordinate and monitor the bid package process, ensuring comprehensive quote coverage.
• Assist in the preparation, distribution, and monitoring of project billings (draws) from start to finish.
• Activate and maintain accurate project files, including logs for change orders, permits, submittals, RFIs, etc.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop, monitor, and update project schedules, actively managing timelines.
• Attend project meetings to support effective communication within the team.
• Maintain close-out documents for project completion, including O&M manuals.
• Uphold safety commitments and participate in safety inspections.
