Guardian Roofing, Gutters & Insulation is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as a liaison among customers, production staff, and field teams in Auburn, WA. The role supports scheduling, job readiness, and timely project delivery with a focus on improving internal communication.

The position requires 2+ years in construction coordination, proficiency with ServiceTitan and Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years coordinating, scheduling, or supporting construction projects.
• Experience with project lifecycle from scheduling to completion in roofing or similar.
• Proficient with ServiceTitan, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across departments.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to collaborate with office and field staff.
• Valid driver's license and ability to climb ladders and walk roofs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute project timelines and updates.
• Act as hub between Production Coordinators, Superintendents, and Production Manager.
• Coordinate pre-install tasks: communication, readiness verification, permits, materials, scheduling.
• Track progress using ServiceTitan or similar software.
• Assist in solving delays and material shortages with the team.
• Handle contract reviews and material purchasing for assigned projects.
• Ensure documentation is complete and inspections are conducted.
• Communicate with customers regarding schedules and issues.
• Support safety with notes and checklists before starts.
• Participate in production meetings and flag risks.
• Occasionally perform job site walkthroughs to ensure quality.
