Facade Today is hiring a Project Engineer in Greenville, Michigan to drive product development for Viking, Marvel, and U-Line refrigeration lines. You will oversee projects from prototype construction to production, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams to ensure high-quality results.

The role emphasizes hands-on involvement in both the design and build phases, with 50% office and 50% shop work, and a focus on delivering robust refrigeration solutions for premium customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–5 years of refrigeration appliance experience preferred.
• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD proficiency.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage designated engineering projects from concept through production.
• Define technical approaches to projects and design directions.
• Lead and guide junior engineers and technicians on tasks.
• Design components and assemblies for refrigeration products.
• Develop refrigeration system and control designs for new concepts.
• Build prototypes for design reviews and functional testing.
• Create test procedures for performance qualifications.
• Maintain specifications for materials and components.
• Conduct design and process FMEAs and design reviews.
