Job summary

Peterson Power Systems seeks a Project Manager 3 to lead large, complex projects remotely from any listed state. You will drive on-time, within-budget delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure customer satisfaction across design/build efforts.

You will coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams, directing meetings, managing budgets, schedules, and documentation for data centers, engineering, or ship repower projects. Strong communication and travel up to 50% are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience in project management in the construction industry; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent Peterson on-site at customer locations during the delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment sold.
• Schedule and direct regular meetings with subcontractors and customers/owners to track project progress and task items.
• Coordinate all project logistics including equipment orders, shipping, and site services.
• Review contract documents thoroughly to ensure compliance with specifications and commercial terms.
• Utilize project management software to establish budgets, issue purchase orders, and monitor project financials.
