Job summary

Avalanche Energy, a Washington-based startup, seeks a Project Engineer / Project Manager to own the Integrated Master Schedule and lead long-range planning within the PMO & Systems Engineering team.

You will drive cadence for program reviews, maintain risk registers, and coordinate with engineering, operations, and supply chain to keep schedule-driven decisions on track. A structured PM background in aerospace/defense/energy is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3 to 7 years in project management, program controls, or project engineering in engineering-heavy environments.
• Hands-on experience with integrated master scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) and earned value concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build, own, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) from an incomplete baseline to a decision-quality document.
• Own and maintain the programmatic risk register with regular updates and risk assessments.
• Establish a cadence for regular schedule sync between near-term data and long-range planning.
• Produce program status reports for leadership and external audiences.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering and technical leads to ensure risk mitigation is captured in the IMS.
