Arcadis is seeking a PMO Engineer in Chandler, AZ to support a high-tech microelectronics project. You will work with site project managers to standardize PM processes, track progress, costs, schedule, and issues, and prepare regular reports for the client and internal teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in commercial/industrial construction, proficiency in MS Office and PM software, strong organization, and the ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience supporting commercial/industrial construction projects; at least 1 year of advanced technology experience preferred.
  • Computer proficient; MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with working knowledge of standard construction/project management software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter.
  • Diploma or Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with site project managers to standardize PM processes and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing monthly progress reports detailing progress, costs, and schedule.
  • Maintain project documentation and communicate deficiencies affecting cost or schedule.
  • Develop flow charts for administrative reporting and approvals.
  • Prepare constructability reviews and minutes from contractor meetings.
  • Update submittals, RFIs, COs, and procurement logs.
  • Assist in schedule preparation and distribute reports to contractors and client reps.
  • Support project close-out documentation.

Arcadis/DPS Group is seeking a (PMO) Project Engineer to work with one of our world class advanced technology clients in Chandler, AZ. The PMO Engineer will directly support the Client Manager and assist in the preparation and tracking of documentation and activities on a complex high-tech project for a major microelectronics manufacturing client.

  • Work with the site project managers, establish and improve standardized PM processes including standardized tracking and reporting, escalation, change management and issue resolution for all Project Management teams
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly progress report highlighting project progress, costs, schedule, and other project issues, forecast activities for the coming report period.
  • Work with the site project managers, establish and improve standardized PM processes including standardized tracking and reporting, escalation, change management and issue resolution for all Project teams
  • Work with project intake team to ensure all key data on new project requests reflect their status and any documentation generated is in line with established norms
  • Maintain project documentation files with special emphasis on notifications of deficiencies by various parties that affect the quality, cost, or schedule of the project. Ensures that deficiencies or impacts are communicated to the appropriate management staff.
  • Assist in the development of flow charts to outline the administrative reporting and approval processes.
  • Assist in preparing Constructability Reviews.
  • Prepare and issue minutes from weekly contractor progress meetings.
  • Update submittal, RFI, Change Order Requests/Change Orders and procurement logs for weekly contractor progress meetings.
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of the schedule. Copy and distribute scheduling reports and look ahead schedules for contractors & client reps and client staff personnel.
  • Continually review all processes for improvement and/or replacement
  • Prepare and issue potential change order requests (pending change orders) and change orders to the client project manager for approval. Maintain files and documents related to all PCO’s and COs in both electronic and hard copy media.
  • Assist in the preparation of project and contract close out documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
