Job summary

Garney Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer in Tempe, AZ. The role supports the project management team by organizing documentation, coordinating with owners, architects and engineers, and handling submittals, RFIs, and scheduling.

The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering or construction management degree, be willing to travel, and pursue early project management exposure with an industry leader. Excellent benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Willing to travel and work hours required for project success.
• Entry-level project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with material purchasing and documentation.
• Serve as liaison with owners, architects and engineers.
• Create submittals and RFIs and coordinate projects from start to finish.
• Assist with estimating, project setup and closeout, and field support.
• Maintain detailed job costs and schedule projects.
