EMC Mechanical Services seeks a Project Engineer to support project execution from turnover through completion on our Construction Team in Richmond, VA. You’ll work alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and Production Managers to learn schedule evaluation, submittal management, budget tracking, and job setup with a clear path toward project ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical ability with schedules, specs and budgets.
• Highly organized with solid documentation habits.
• Clear, professional communicator coordinating with PMs, Superintendents, vendors and trade partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide scope and construction documents to the Superintendent for turnover.
• Plan construction with the Production Manager and Superintendent for prefabrication and scheduling.
• Evaluate schedules and forecast labor needs; assess impacts.
• Review job setup in SAGE and manage project submittals.
• Monitor budgets, billing, and site costs; manage logistics.
• Perform site visits and conduct post-project evaluations for improvements.
