Job summary

Advantage Technical seeks an experienced Project Engineer/Project Manager to support a portfolio of capital projects at a refinery/petrochemical facility in the Lake Charles area. The role focuses on project engineering and management across planning through closeout, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, vendors and contractors.

PE/PM certification is a plus but not required; this is a contract-position opportunity with hours starting at 40–45 per week and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience.
• Refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or similar manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing multiple capital projects simultaneously.
• Strong capital project experience from planning through execution and closeout.
• Experience with RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Experience working with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong cost, schedule, risk, and project execution experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Must be comfortable with a contract position.

Project Engineer/Project Manager – Capital Projects

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer/Project Manager to support a portfolio of capital projects at a refinery/petrochemical manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong project engineering/project management experience in a refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or similar manufacturing environment. This is a project-focused role, not a construction management position.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience
• Refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or similar manufacturing experience
• Experience managing multiple capital projects simultaneously
• Strong capital project experience from planning through execution and closeout
• Experience with RFIs (Requests for Information)

40 to 45 hours a week to start, hours will increase during outage.
