Job summary

Weeks Marine, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Houston, TX to oversee the administrative and technical aspects of a construction project.

You will liaise between the Project/Construction Manager and a team of field and cost engineers, handling cost, revenue and cash flow information while developing junior staff. You will lead scheduling, quality control, and contract administration, with opportunities to advance to Project Manager on smaller projects and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ work experience in construction or engineering.
• 2+ years' experience managing engineers.
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Passion for safety and ensuring work is done right the first time.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the project.
• Manage revenue, cost, and cash flow information.
• Coordinate temp engineering and permanent design management and quality control.
• Oversee project closeout and client relations.
• Assist in Operations planning and administer contracts/subcontracts.
