Job summary

Enerflex Ltd in Houston seeks a Project Engineer, New Product Development, to support design and commercialization of reciprocating engine‑driven natural gas generator packages for data centers and critical infrastructure, from requirements through production release and continuous improvement.

You will integrate engine, fuel, radiator, enclosure, exhaust, and emissions equipment, switchgear and controls, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and project teams; travel may be

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of mechanical package design experience with complex industrial equipment.
• Experience with SolidWorks, CADWorx, AutoCAD or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development for natural gas generator packages.
• Develop system architectures, layouts and interfaces for integrated solutions.
• Perform engineering calculations related to cooling, acoustics and exhaust.
• Apply DFM, DFA and DFS principles throughout development.
• Create/general arrangements, P&IDs, equipment specs and BOMs.
• Coordinate work across engineering, manufacturing and suppliers.
• Plan design reviews and track technical actions.
