Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in power generation, utility operations, industrial rotating machinery, or related mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in power generation, such as turbines, engines, heat exchangers, rotating equipment, fuel systems, and related assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, 3D models, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated analytical, diagnostic, and technical communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide mechanical engineering support to internal teams—including sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and aftersales—to ensure accurate application, selection, and utilization of power generation equipment.
• Respond to technical inquiries from external customers, utilities, OEM partners, and service providers regarding product performance, specifications, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, engineering standards, specifications, and technical documentation related to power generation systems and associated components.
• Support root-cause analysis for mechanical product or field issues and contribute to the development of corrective actions and long-term reliability improvements.
• Participate in product development and sustaining engineering efforts to enhance product reliability, manufacturability, durability, and operational performance.
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, engineering change records, manuals, and training materials.
• Provide technical input to sales teams during bid and proposal development, including equipment sizing, performance evaluation, and compliance with customer specifications.
• Assist supply chain operations by evaluating technical compliance of purchased mechanical components, providing engineering clarification, and resolving supplier-related issues.
• Support aftersales and field service operations through commissioning assistance, mechanical diagnostics, maintenance guidance, and warranty assessments.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant industry codes, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
