Job summary

Jobtailor in New Jersey is seeking a civil engineer to assist in designing and developing municipal infrastructure projects, including roadways and stormwater systems, under senior supervision.

You will prepare drawings and estimates, conduct field investigations, and ensure compliance with regulations, with opportunities to lead proposals and collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with a focus on site development, transportation, or municipal infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other civil engineering design software.
• Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of GIS applications and data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities
