Job summary

Job description

  • Contribute to management of all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration
  • Support technical delivery of site civil engineering and land development projects
  • Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and work plans with leadership and clients
  • Track and support management of project performance, deliverables, and timelines
  • Participate in construction administration activities, including site visits and progress tracking
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, consultants, internal teams, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, design standards, and codes
  • Prepare or oversee engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Monitor project schedules and help ensure timely completion of technical deliverables
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior staff and mentor junior project managers
  • Help resolve complex delivery challenges
  • Assist with leading projects involving heightened coordination and risk
  • Support planning and supervision of design and construction activities on advanced projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited program
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Oklahoma or Texas, or 8 years of experience in lieu of license
  • Minimum of 8-15 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering or land development projects
  • Proven experience managing engineering projects and leading technical design for grading, drainage, paving, utilities, storm water management, and site infrastructure
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations, design standards, and permitting processes
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles related to design, permitting, and construction administration
  • Ability to lead teams and coordinate across disciplines
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
