Job summary

Ur-Energy Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to provide engineering support at the Lost Creek ISR Uranium Mine. You will plan, develop, and manage projects that enhance production, safety, and regulatory compliance, reporting to the Mine Manager.

You will design new systems and optimize existing operations across the wellfield, plant, and site systems, coordinating with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Experience with project design, procurement, and construction practices, incl. EHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement projects to support production, safety, and regulatory goals.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and budgets.
• Manage procurement, contractor coordination, and installation oversight.
• Evaluate and optimize existing systems and provide engineering support for maintenance.
• Prepare reports on project status and engineering activities.
• Assist in economic evaluations of projects.
• Review environmental and regulatory requirements for site operations.
