Job summary

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a General Foreman to lead earthwork and site activities on the CEPP Everglades A-2 Reservoir project in Palm Beach County, Florida. The role requires coordinating crews, reviewing plans, and ensuring safety and quality on a major civil construction site.

You will work with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, subcontractors, inspectors, and regulators to meet schedules and budgets while maintaining a strong safety program and daily reporting controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of heavy civil construction field experience, with significant earthwork and site development.
• Proven experience supervising and coordinating multiple construction crews.
• Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, embankment, site preparation, drainage, and related earthwork operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project layouts.
• Ability to effectively coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in written and verbal business communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily earthwork and site activities.
• Identify and schedule each component of the work and assign manpower, equipment, and resources.
• Conduct daily crew meetings to communicate work plans and safety expectations.
• Coordinate and direct multiple jobsite crews, subcontractors, material suppliers, and equipment providers.
• Review plans, specs, and layouts to ensure work is performed correctly and efficiently.
• Monitor grades, elevations, site layout, and quantities to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate equipment utilization and material deliveries to maintain productivity.
• Maintain daily reports documenting manpower, equipment, materials, and activities.
