Job summary

Jobot, a premier commercial general contractor in Florida, seeks a Permanent Project Engineer to join a growing team. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 per year, with potential for career advancement within a national platform that values local relationships.

You will coordinate technical activities across multiple projects, review plans, and work closely with the PMs and subcontractors using Procore for scheduling, budgeting, and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the Construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, management, and execution of construction projects.
• Reviewing and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and other instructions.
• Coordinate with the project team and subcontractors to ensure all technical aspects are accurately executed.
• Utilize Procore for project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and communication.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and resolve issues.
• Prepare and submit project reports, and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement project strategies.
