Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with day‑to‑day project execution, including cost control, schedule management, and document coordination
• Manage and track submittals, RFIs, change requests, and associated logs to ensure timely resolution
• Support project buyout, subcontract administration, and procurement activities
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of project schedules, including short‑interval planning and look‑ahead schedules
• Monitor project costs, support forecasting, and assist with quantity tracking and cost reporting
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals to support construction activities and resolve field issues
• Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting agendas/minutes, and distribute follow‑up documentation
• Support implementation of project quality control processes and documentation requirements
• Assist with safety planning, compliance tracking, and site safety initiatives
• Utilize project management and technology platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software) to support project execution
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned efforts

Position: Project Engineer
The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects by assisting project leadership with cost control, scheduling, quality management, and documentation. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of commercial construction experience in a Project Engineer role or similar capacity
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, drawing interpretation, and project controls
• Proficiency with construction technology platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced project environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
