Job summary

NV5, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Land Development group. You will help prepare designs and reports, perform calculations, and use AutoCAD/Civil 3D to deliver quality design work while ensuring code compliance.

This role involves coordinating with project teams, clients, and agencies, performing site visits, and attending external meetings. A Bachelor's in civil or agricultural engineering and up to 3 years of related experience are required, with DMV screening part of the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineering.
• Up to three years of experience with transportation design.
• Ability to use AutoCAD for design activities (Civil 3D preferred).
• Ability to obtain PE Registration within five years of graduation.
• Must pass mandatory DMV check.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the Land Development group through the preparation of design aspects of a total work product. This role is not construction management-focused.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation of designs and reports
• Performing calculations
• CADD/Civil 3D
• Maintain familiarity with applicable WMD, FDEP, local codes, and requirements and ensure compliance
• Communicating with project team(s), clients, and agencies
• Perform site visits as needed
• Attend external meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineering
• Up to three years of experience with transportation design
• Must have the ability to use AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) for design activities
• Must have the ability to obtain PE Registration within five years of graduation
• Must pass mandatory DMV check
