Job summary

Blach Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support project teams in planning, coordinating, and documenting project execution. You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent to meet quality, safety, schedule, and cost goals, while working with Architects, Consultants, Subcontractors, Clients, and Inspectors to resolve issues and deliver excellent stakeholder service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings and specifications to learn all aspects of the project.
• Create Submittal Register from project specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Superintendent on safety, permits, and site logistics.
• Prepare and distribute bid packages and meeting agendas.
• Coordinate with Project Team to create and issue Letters of Intent / Subcontract Agreements
• Take meeting minutes and process invoices in CMiC workflow.
• Assist with project close-out preparations.
