Job summary

Leopardo Construction seeks a Project Engineer to join our downtown Chicago team. This role supports Estimating, Project Management and Field Operations, helping plan, direct and coordinate activities while gaining exposure to all facets of the construction industry.

The position is ideal for candidates looking to learn and advance toward estimator, project manager, or superintendent roles. A structured training program accompanies rotational learning across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or architecture related fields.
• Prior industry experience as a Project Engineer or Intern preferred; field and/or estimating experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction drawings.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support project management to monitor goals, schedules, budgets, and communications.
• Prepare meeting minutes and track action items.
• Coordinate with estimators, field operations, and management.
• Review submittals, RFIs, logs, and compliance records.
