Job summary

Silverado Contractors, Inc. invites students in Civil Engineering or Construction Management to join its summer internship program in Emeryville, CA.

Interns will work with project teams and stakeholders, attending meetings and supporting daily PM tasks to gain real-world experience. The internship runs 6 to 10 weeks, full-time during summer, and includes training opportunities, field condition evaluation, QA/QC support, and document control.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings and support PMs with day-to-day activities and deliverables.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to coordinate project tasks.
• Assist with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and contract changes.
• Support scheduling and sequencing of activities and update project schedules.
• Provide design and field support, including temporary structures using CAD tools.
