Job summary

Overaa Construction is offering a Summer Construction Internship in Richmond, CA. Interns will work with project teams, gain exposure to PM, engineering, estimating, and safety, and participate in real projects at a self-perform general contractor.

Interns report to a Project Engineer, Project Manager, or Project Superintendent and will assist with document control, coordination, procurement, and safety programs while learning Lean construction practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project document control and distribution.
• Coordinate information to field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Track change orders and clarifications.
• Support estimating and scheduling activities.
• Assist with project startup, planning, and closeout.
