Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Project Engineer Intern in Dallas, TX to support the project team in completing designated projects while learning construction industry processes and company policies.

You will gain hands-on experience with budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders, while developing on-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field and within 18 months of graduating.
• Be able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team with budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts and change orders.
• Coordinate job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Perform critical inspections and closeout observations to keep project on schedule.
• Coordinate design documentation with field conditions through reality capture program.
• Collaborate with high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
