Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern in Dallas to support the project team and learn construction industry processes and company policies.

You will gain hands-on experience with budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, and job-site coordination. You’ll observe scheduling, quality control, and safety, and assist in inspections and closeout for schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field.
• Be within 18 months of graduating.
• Be able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
• Basic understanding of estimating techniques and cost control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Complete inspections and closeout observations to keep project schedule moving.
• Coordinate design documentation with field conditions via reality capture program.
• Collaborate with high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
