Tarlton is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to prepare you for a full-time Project Engineer role. You will be exposed to many aspects of the construction process and will work hand-in-hand with your Project Team to help coordinate construction activities and ensure a profitable, well-constructed, safe project is delivered.

During the internship, you will gain hands-on exposure to project documentation, field support, safety, scheduling, estimating, and professional development, using Procore,

• Current college student pursuing Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsabilidades

• Learn Procore basics and pursue Procore certification.
• Update drawings against RFIs, ASIs, Addenda.
• Review submittals vs drawings/specs; maintain log.
• Review RFIs against plans before submitting.
• Assist Superintendent with logs, photos, schedule updates.
• Support QC and punchlist; verify specs match.
• Work with self-perform crew on flatwork and carpentry; track labor.
• Attend Safety Team meetings; conduct JSARs/TSBOs.
• Develop project schedules using MS Project, Excel, or Primavera.
• Assist estimating with quantity take-offs and bid prep.
• Create subcontract scoping notes; participate in meetings.
• Build ownership and communication through meetings and events.
