Job summary

The Pacific Companies are seeking an Intern/Project Engineer in Eagle, ID to support multiple construction projects. You will engage in subcontract negotiations, coordinate with owners, engineers, and sub-trades, and assist with schedule and budget development.

Ideal candidates hold or pursue a construction-related degree, demonstrate strong communication and leadership, and can maintain relationships with clients and regulators as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in CM/CE or related field.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals and contract administration.
• Experience with project scheduling and budgeting.
• Understanding of the bidding process.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative direction for multiple projects and monitor performance.
• Negotiate subcontracts and manage owner/partner communications.
• Develop site plans and oversee schedule and budget.
• Draft and track RFIs and submittals; review shop drawings.
• Manage change orders and cost/schedule impacts.
