Job summary

The Pacific Companies is seeking an Intern/Project Engineer to join our Eagle, Idaho team. This role provides administrative direction for multiple projects, overseeing costs, schedule, quality, and status while coordinating with owners, partners, engineers, and subcontractors.

You will assist with subcontract negotiations, RFI tracking, and submittals, and help develop site plans and construction methods. You will work within our experienced, collaborative team to manage project reporting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or pursuing degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with project scheduling and budgeting.
• Leadership, problem solving and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative direction for projects including costs, schedule, quality, and status.
• Assist with subcontract negotiations and development of subcontracts and major purchase orders.
• Develop site plans and facilitate construction means and methods.
• Maintain relationships with owners, partners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Manage RFI's, submittals and shop drawings for conformance to contract documents.
• Assist with monitoring project schedule and budget and establishing construction plans.
