Job summary

The Pacific Companies in Eagle, ID is seeking an Intern/Project Engineer to support multiple construction projects. This role provides administrative direction and helps manage costs, schedule, quality, and project status under supervision.

You will assist with subcontractor proposals, develop site plans, manage RFIs and submittals, and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in a related construction field.
• Experience with RFI's, Submittals and Contract Administration.
• Experience with Project Scheduling and Budgeting.
• Understanding of the Bidding Process.
• Leadership, problem solving, organizational ability, customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontractor proposals and negotiations.
• Develop site plans to facilitate execution of construction means and methods.
• Maintain relationships with owner, partner, architect, consultants and subcontractors.
• Manage RFIs and Submittals, review submittals and shop drawings for conformance.
• Assist with project reporting procedures and budget monitoring.
• Assist with change orders, cost and schedule impacts.
