• Preferred knowledge of route surveying and scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs, and change orders), and progress reporting.
• Learning and performing project management functions such as estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
• Understanding and learning construction plans.
• Interacting professionally with clients, managers, and employees.
• Performing other assigned duties.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work is performed on heavy civil and highway construction sites with loud noise levels.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor conditions including inclement weather, heat, humidity, dust, and asphalt.
• Physical demands include sitting for long periods at a desk in front of a computer screen.

Position Type and Travel

• This is a full-time, 12-week summer internship, classified as a nonexempt position.
• Some travel is required between the project site and corporate office.
