Role Description

The Project Engineer - Intelligent Transportation System is a full-time, on-site role based in Norfolk, VA. This position is responsible for supporting the planning, design, and implementation of ITS system projects, ensuring technical requirements and client specifications are met. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project activities, preparing technical documentation, reviewing electrical and control system designs, and assisting with system integration and testing. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, field technicians, and client stakeholders to track progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain project schedules and budgets. The Project Engineer will also help ensure compliance with relevant standards and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes.

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to ITS and tolling system environments.
• Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and support delivery of complex technical projects.
